Kryptos

Cryptic hunts are the online equivalent of treasure hunts and require you to surf the internet for clues to solve given questions, which are to be solved by using online tools such as cipher decoders/encoders and other common methods of data relaying such as QR codes, barcodes, etc.

The hunt will consist of a number of levels, with each level consisting of a set of clues, all of which link to ONE ANSWER related to the world of tech or pop culture references. The difficulty will increase with each level.

Format and rules:

Participants are allowed to use the internet and other tools at their disposal to decipher codes and find clues.

Any participant found helping or getting help from other participants or non-participants will end both being disqualified.

Leads will be given at regular intervals to help you solve levels.

One day after the hunt ends, the top 3 participants will be announced

The cryptic hunt shall be held online and thus will be on the 9th and 10th of October, before the actual competition, and last for 48 hours.
